Staries is similar to Gems Swap but you position stars. Also, rather than swapping two stars or rotating four, you slide the entire row to get clusters of three or more stars of the same color together. Use the mouse to slide a row of stars horizontally or vertically so that you create a cluster of three or more of the same color. The clusters do not need to be in a straight line row. If you cluster five stars together, you will get a power star, represented by a star with smaller stars orbiting it. If you cluster a power star in a three or more star group, the power star will explode, destroying the eight star surrounding it.

Starting with level three, you will have some stars have a ring form about them with a padlock at the top. These stars are locked and they, and their row, cannot be moved horizontally or vertically. This can make creating star cluster more challenging. Locked stars can be removed if you can get them into a cluster or explode a power star near them. Unlike other Novel Games Limited action puzzle games, this game is not timed.
