Supa Nova Supa Nova is a bit of a cross between two old Atari games; Asteroids and Missile Command. As in Missile Command, your job is to kill the enemy objects by laying an obstacle in their course, but with the difference that you don't have any ground missile bases to do so. Instead, as in Asteroids, you move your sprite in space, and makes it lay out space mines in the path of the enemies. And when they run into a mine, they split into two, just as in Asteroids. Since your supply of mines is not unlimited, a refuelling ship comes onto the screen when you run out. You must dock with it with pixel precision, and control both its moves (with the cursor keys) and your own (using the joystick), which makes refuelling the greatest challenge in the game, especially since all enemies still are moving around while this precision-demanding task is gone through.

The game runs in four different colour modes, selectable using the C button and a number. [source:mobygames]
