Tale of a Hero is fantasy/fairy-tale point and click adventure developed in the old-school style. Despite of its rather low-budget production, it provides about 15 hours of gameplay with classic adventuring and subtle, kind humor in spreading dialogues with non-traditional characters
In this game you play young fisherman Olaf, son of the famous dragonslayer who was out-casted by his king for not being willing to raise a war for the monarch's foolishness. After his father's death Olaf took over the monster-slaying business, but instead of killing them he found many ways how to get along with them and turn them into beneficial neighbours of the villagers. His happy life is disturbed when one of the father's most powerful adversaries, ice giant Krugell, returns to the world of men seeking revenge for his killed brother.
You control Olaf with classical point and click interface. You can't run in this game, but a double-click on the exit will transport you immediately to the next room (like in other games from Future Games). There are no action sequences and you can't die in this game.
