As the name suggests, Gamedesign's Tennis Game is a simple free flash adaption of the popular ball sport.
The matches are played in an isometric view where only singles matches player-vs-computer are possible. The human player always plays at the bottom of the screen, there's no change of sides. Every match follows the same rules as one player has to win three games to win the match. When a match is levelled at 2-2 one player needs to win two games in a row to win.
The player gets to choose between two modes of play: In exhibition mode the statistics of the human and computer player can be adjusted so practicing at every level is possible. In tournament mode sixteen former female world class players with predefined statistics can be chosen to compete in a typical tennis tournament with four rounds to win the championship.
For a small browser game the tennis sport is simulated quite well. The ball can be hit in every direction with short, normal, and far length. Service, volleys, and smashes can be played.
