TetFun 2000: World Championship TetFun 2000: World Championship is a falling block puzzle game. The gameplay is identical to classic Tetris. Blocks of various shapes drop down from the top of the board and can be rotated and moved before landing on the bottom in a pile. Each space in a row must be filled to be cleared out, making room for additional blocks. The pace quickens as higher levels are reached. The game ends whenever any block touches the top of the board.

In addition to the classic game, this rendition includes a Pentix variation which has more elaborate block designs. Bombs appear randomly to help destroy unwanted blocks. The player can select from a variety of colorful block designs and backgrounds as well as configure the keyboard controls and sounds.

There are four modes of play: Classic, Timer, Rising and World Championship.

Games can be paused, saved and reloaded, and scores are kept on High Scores tables. A player's score could be submitted to an Internet Table in a worldwide competition. The winner gained the right to play all of the company's games in registered mode. [source:mobygames]
