Game Classification

Tropical Puzzle is a match three game with a tropical setting. To make a match, click a colored ball then click the square where you want to place it. The ball you select must have a clear path to your selected destination. When you line up three or more of the same color, vertically, horizontally or diagonally, they will disappear. Whenever you move a ball and do not make a three or more match, more balls will appear.

You will encounter items that help and hinder you. For example, bombs, when moved or double clicked, will explode and clear the square they are on as well as one or more of the surrounding squares. Black 'bad balls' can only be removed with bombs, although they can be moved about the puzzle. Rainbow balls can be used to complete any color row of three or more. Locked balls are unlocked by making a match with them.

There are two game modes: Endless and Adventure. In the Endless mode, simply complete row matches to make points unless the screen has become filled with balls, at which point the game is over. In Adventure mode, the object is to clear the blue tiles by making matches over them. If you encounter yellow tiles, you must match over them to turn them blue then match over them again to clear them. There are eighty-five Adventure levels total. [source:mobygames]
