This game works according to the conventions of many 2D physics-based puzzle games, where a given level begins in a certain state and must be made to end in a different state. Sometimes the ending conditions have to do with certain surfaces coming into contact with others, and other times a ball must be made to go into a goal zone. Here the game is much as is billed: the player is responsible for arranging things such that the vampire is brought into contact with all the humans, while avoiding priests and garlic. Complicating things are rival vampires and the effects of the full moon, which can transform eligible human targets into vampire-eating werewolves.
Gravity, friction, and momentum all work as one would expect, but the game adds a few additional laws of folklore and superstition into the mix. Primary gameplay elements involve removing wooden blocks with mouse-clicks, allowing the chips to fall where they may, and a timing element is introduced with rotating pivots and swaying ropes.
