War Diary: Burma is a real-time strategy game set in Burma during World War II in 1943. The player guides a team of British soldiers through various missions behind enemy lines, fighting against the Japanese occupiers and rescuing downed pilots. The more missions the player has completed, the bigger will his team become.
It is Rovio Mobile Ltd's first game and runs on a Series 30 phone (around 200KBs heap, 64KB JAR limit). The game is played on one large map. Each mission has its own starting and ending points. The player moves the team on the map in real-time, and when going close to an enemy icon the game jumps into a turn-based battle screen where both sides are shown as they attack alternately.
