The player controls the movements of a scampering squirrel, endlessly cavorting along a series of window sills and ledges as it, presumably, returns to its squirrelly abode. Squirrel control is enacted through mouse movements, moving the rodent left and right as well as prompting it to jump by clicking. Mostly the game involves clicking at the right moment to allow the squirrel to traverse a gap between platforms, as the screen scrolls endlessly from right to left, and sometimes a jump can be fine-tuned by moving the mouse laterally in conjunction with a jump.
Points are collected in the form of small red fruits as a squirrel might store in the hollow of a tree for the winter. The game ends after the squirrel suffers its first fall.
