Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is a sequel to 1985's Commando (aka "Wolf of the Battlefield") and 1990's Mercs (aka "Wolf of the Battlefield II") published by Capcom. The third installment in the series is developed by Backbone Entertainment in the form of a downloadable game for Xbox 360 and PS3 which carries on the tradition and gameplay found in the first two.

You can play single-player as one of 3 characters codenamed Wolf, Coyote, and Fox, each with different characteristics. Three-player local and online co-op multiplayer is also available. Weapon upgrades and power-ups can be picked-up as you go through each of 5 levels. Weapons include machine gun, grenades, spread gun, missile launcher, flamethrower, and the M-Crash which activates a large area-effect explosion that kills or destroys everything in sight.
