In the world of Gaia, every thousand years the princesses of the five great dynasties gather together in the capital city, to conduct a ritual that is believed to bestow peace upon the land. Like all the other city youngsters, the apprentice swordsman Reseshibu and his friend, the lovely Jena, are attending the great ceremony.
