Puyo Pop Fever, known in Japan as Puyo Puyo Fever (?????????, Puyo Puyo F?b??), is a puzzle game released on a wide variety of systems and was developed by Namco Hometek. Sega published all versions of it in Japan, but due to a reluctance to carry it over to other countries (causing solely the GameCube and Nintendo DS versions to be released in the US), international versions of it were sometimes published by others. Sega of America published the U.S. GameCube version, Atlus published the U.S. Nintendo DS version, Sega of Europe published the European GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox versions, and THQ published the European Game Boy Advance version. The PlayStation Portable version was listed for a U.S. release, but was cancelled. The sequel to this game was released in Japan in 2005.
