FlOw is a game about piloting an aquatic organism through a surreal biosphere where players consume other organisms, evolve, and advance their organisms to the abyss.
Born from Jenova Chen's undergraduate thesis on dynamic difficulty adjustment ("DDA") in video games, flOw is a landmark experiment in game development. Whereas most games rely on tension and forced challenges to keep you interested, flOw draws the player in by allowing them to adjust the challenge themselves through actions performed during the game.
